Our Approach
Phase 1: Optimization of Existing Website Content
Before introducing new content, it was essential to step back and evaluate what already existed.
Because Hive Digital Marketing did not originally build the website, we inherited a structure that required refinement to meet current SEO standards. Rather than immediately layering on new content, we focused on strengthening the foundation.
Key initiatives in this phase included:
- Optimizing existing page content for targeted keywords
- Improving metadata, headers, and on-page SEO elements
- Enhancing internal linking and site structure
- Addressing technical SEO factors impacting crawlability and indexing
This phase ensured that the website was properly aligned with search engine expectations—allowing future efforts to perform more effectively.
Phase 2: Content Expansion & Proactive SEO Growth
Once the foundation was solid, we shifted into a more aggressive and proactive SEO strategy focused on growth.
This phase centered around developing and publishing new, high-quality content tailored to both search intent and Mystic’s brand authority.
Content initiatives included:
- Mystic Powerboats branded content to strengthen brand search presence
- Industry-relevant topics targeting high-value search queries
- Event-driven content aligned with boat shows, product launches, and seasonal trends
- Ongoing keyword targeting and ranking optimization
This approach allowed Mystic to expand its digital footprint while reinforcing its leadership position within the high-performance boating industry.
The Result
Consistent Upward Momentum
The impact of this two-phase approach is clear in the data.
Keyword Ranking Improvements
- Baseline (12 months): 19.1 average position
- 6 months: Improved to 13.4
- Current (last 3 months): Improved to 11.9
This steady progression demonstrates meaningful movement toward first-page rankings across a wide range of keywords.
Expanded Keyword Visibility
- Over 1,000+ search terms now generating visibility
- 86 keywords ranking in positions #1–2

These gains reflect not just improved rankings—but a broader and more competitive keyword footprint. As more keywords enter top positions, these metrics are expected to continue trending upward.
